Phishing attempts are running rampid and here is another example of a phishing attmept that was recently discovered by Websense Security Labs and Websense customers with the Web Security Suite are protected in real time from these threats as they are discovered by Websense Security Labs.  Below is the latest that was recently discovered.

“Websense® Security Labs™ has received reports of a phishing attack that targets customers of Interchange Bank. Users receive a spoofed email message which offers a credit of $75 to their account if they take part in a survey. The email provides a link to a phishing site that attempts to collect user account information”.

This phishing site is hosted in Romania and was up at the time of this alert.

Phishing email text:

Dear Customer,
At INTERCHANGE BANK, we are committed to protecting your financial interests with secure technology and educate you with ?best practices? for staying secure on the Internet. As a INTERCHANGE internet Banking customer, you have been chosen by customer department to take part in our quick and easy 7 question survey. In return we will credit $75 to your account - Just for your time!
Helping us better understand how our customers feel, benefits everyone. With the information collected we can make changes to improve and expand our services.
The information you provide us is all non-sensitive and anonymous - No part of it is handed down to any third party groups. It will be stored in our secure database for maximum of 3 days while we process the results of this survey.
