Cloudmark is adressing the latest SPAM scam which is using images instead of the traditional text. This makes it very difficult for SPAM filtering products to detect the messages as SPAM and this method is being used often now for “stock SPAM” messages promoting stocks to artificallly elevate the stock price. Other industries are sure to follow based on the success of these image based attacks.
